Etymology[edit]

fejl +‎ kilde

Noun[edit]

fejlkilde

  1. (sciences) something that causes the result of an experiment to be different from the "truth", such as over- or undermeasurement, noise, factors unaccounted for in the used model, etc.
En fejlkilde fælles for kolorimetriske titreringer er, at de altid må afsluttes efter omslagspunktet, og aldrig før.
An error source common to colorimetric titrations is that they must always be finished after the colour-change point, and never before.
