ho- (space, area, things) + -◌́- (ni-modal 3rd person subject prefix) + -∅- (classifier)-lǫ́ (neuter imperfective stem of root -LĮĮD, “to exist”).

Usage notes[edit]

This verb refers to existence and location. When describing what or how something is, use the verb nilį́ for animate subjects, and átʼé for inanimate subjects.

This is a neuter verb that only uses the imperfective mode.
