ha- (up out) + -yi- (modal) + -∅- (3rd person subject prefix) + -d- (classifier)-chiiʼ (neuter perfective stem of root -CHIIʼ, “to be red”).

  1. there is a red outcropping or patch of it (on the mountainside)
