  1. (Internet slang, fandom slang) nitpicking on the Internet, usually regarding minor mistakes in a film, television series, etc.
    • 1995, Fortean Times, page 27:
      Such debates about details occur all the time in any fan forum; on the Internet this bloodsport is called 'netpicking'.
