Possibly realted to or identical with dialectal Azerbaijani pitpiti.

patpatı (definite accusative patpatını, plural patpatılar)
- (possibly Basarkechar) a wild-growing unedible (and possibly poisonous) plant

- Adamlar otu oraqla, kərənti ilə biçir, süddüyən, patpatı və tanımadığım digər zərərli bitkiləri seçib, qalanını qazana basırdılar.
- People would cut the greens with a sickle, with a scythe, they would single out spurge, patpatı and other harmful plants that I did not know, and put the rest into the pot.
