Etymology[edit]
From picapedra + -ell. So named from the cry of "Picapedrell, qui té l'anell?" ("Grey heron, who has the ring?"), which is the signal to begin the guessing phase of the game.

- a children's game in which a ring is secretly passed from hand to hand until a signal is given to begin guessing and then one player has to guess which of the other players has it
