Inherited from Ottoman Turkish راضی (rāżı, satisfied, contented, willing, approving; resigned, submissive),[1][2] from Arabic رَاضٍ (rāḍin), active participle of رَضِيَ (raḍiya, to be pleased, to be satisfied, to approve).[3]
