- (Internet) A type of unsolicited e-mail (spam) that specifically advertises a product.
Also; any advertisement which covers a broad spectrum of media in a non-targeted blanket campaign where one feels that there is no escaping it. Typically so poorly done as to be remembered for the annoyance than the product itself.
