Noun

supercolumniation (usually uncountable, plural supercolumniations)

1. (architecture) The putting of one order above another.

   An example of supercolumniation would be the putting of the Doric order in the ground story, Ionic above it, and Corinthian or Composite above that.

2. (architecture) An architectural work produced by this method.
