togtid f or m (definite singular togtida or togtiden, indefinite plural togtider, definite plural togtidene)

  1. (rail transport) train time (time that a scheduled passenger train departs or arrives according to the timetable)
  2. the time a rail journey takes.
    Neste august kan togtiden til Sveriges hovedstad fra Oslo kuttes med halvannen time.
    Next August the time taken by train from Oslo to Sweden's capital can be cut by one and a half hours. (written in 2014)
