Portuguese[edit]

Etymology[edit]

Blend of três (three) +‎ bêbado (drunk) or tri- (tri-, three) +‎ bêbado (drunk).

This is a play on words. It treats the Portuguese word bêbado (drunk) as if it started with the prefix bi- (two) and changes it to tri- (three).

Adjective[edit]

trêbado (feminine trêbada, masculine plural trêbados, feminine plural trêbadas)

  1. (rare, humorous) very drunk
