  1. (often used pejoratively) To redevelop (an urban area or commercial premises) so as to attract affluent young professionals as residents or clientele.
    This used to be an honest old-fashioned backstreet boozer but, like Fulham itself, the pub has had its soul ripped out since it has been yuppified
