тэфэн (tɛfɛn) (transitive)

  1. to be hit
    ӏэгуаум уешъутырмэ ӏанэм тэфэт — If you kick the ball, it will hit the table.
    тафыу рэхъутэп апкӏым — It must not hit the glass.
    кӏарахъомкӏэ тагъаф апкӏымhit the glass with (using) the gun.
    мыжъор апкӏым тэфагъ — The rock hit the glass.
  2. to fall (On something or someone)
    кӏалэр чӏыгум тэфагъ — The boy fell on the ground.
    къэцхэмэ кӏалэр я хэфагъ — The boy fell on the thorns.
    мыжъо уишъхьэ тафэмэ уишъхьэ иубэтэтIf a rock hit your head, your head will break.
