   كَانَ عَلَى وَشْكِ الوُصُولِ إِلَى البَيْتِ

   kāna ʕalā waški al-wuṣūli ʔilā l-bayti

Either followed by أَنْ (ʔan) + subjunctive or a verbal noun (maṣdar) as the second term of ʾiḍāfa.
