From Proto-Turkic [Term?]; equivalent to сарсын (sarsın, “tomorrow”) + -ҥы (-ñı, attributive suffix). Cognate with Dolgan һарсыӈӈы (harsıŋŋı, “tomorrow’s”), Turkish yarınki (“tomorrow’s”), etc.
