Etymology

Literally “to cut around”, from թլիփ (tʻlipʻ, round border) +‎ -ատ (-at).

  1. to circumcise
    զգերեզման թլփատելzgerezman tʻlpʻatelto desecrate sepulchres and despoil the dead
