Martirosyan derives drom (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Indo-European *turH-d-s- and compares to Lithuanian tvìrtas (“strong, firm, solid”), Proto-Slavic *tvьrdъ (Russian твёрдый (tvjórdyj)).
