The word is attested only once, in its plural. Related to Ancient Greek λύγξ (lúnx), Proto-Slavic *rysь, Lithuanian lūšis, Proto-Germanic *luhsaz and either inherited from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Indo-European or a European (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Lua error in Module:parameters at line 303: Parameter 1 should be a valid language or etymology language code; the value "qfa-sub" is not valid.
