ողբամ (ołbam)  (aorist indicative ողբացի or ողբացայ)

  1. to lament, to bewail, to groan, to complain, to weep, to deplore
    ողբամ զքեզ հայոց աշխարհ, ողբամ զքեզ հանուրց հիւսիսականաց վեհագոյնołbam zkʻez hayocʻ ašxarh, ołbam zkʻez hanurcʻ hiwsisakanacʻ vehagoynI mourn for you, Armenia! I mourn for you, oh chief among the nations of the North!
  2. to wear mourning
