  1. (transitive) to torment, to torture, to rack, to afflict, to cause to suffer, to harrow
  2. (intransitive) to be tormented, to suffer tortures
    զանհնարին տանջանս տանջիzanhnarin tanǰans tanǰihe suffers cruel torments
    տանջին զանմահ մահնtanǰin zanmah mahnthey die eternal death
