- Second-person masculine singular vav-consecutive perfect (hence future tense) of אָסַף (asáf).
- Tanach, Exodus 3:16, with translation of the King James Version:
- וְאָסַפְתָּ אֶת זִקְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל
- v'asaftá et zikné yisraél
- and gather the elders of Israel together
