Etymology[edit]

Probably borrowed from Polish lada, as well as dialectal Russian ля́да (ljáda, really, perhaps, unless) and dialectal Ukrainian лядац (ljadac, anything, whatever). Ultimately from Proto-Slavic *lěda.

ליאַדע (lyade)

  1. any, no matter what/who/etc.
