תְּשׁוּקָה (t'shukáf (plural indefinite תְּשׁוּקוֹת, singular construct תְּשׁוּקַת־)

  1. a longing, a desire, a craving
    1. Of a person for other.
      • Song of Songs 7:11, with translation of the English Standard Version:
        אֲנִי לְדֹודִי וְעָלַי תְּשׁוּקָתֹֽו׃‏
        I am my beloved’s, and his desire is for me.
    2. Of beast to devour.
