خَلَعَ (ḵalaʕa) I, non-past يَخْلَعُ‎ (yaḵlaʕu)

  1. to take off, to doff
    تَخْلَعُ الطَبَقَاتَ الخَارِجِيَّةَ بِمُسَاعَدَةِ سِكِّينٍ
    taḵlaʕu aṭ-ṭabaqāta l-ḵārijiyyata bimusāʕadati sikkīnin
    She takes off the outer layers with the aid of a knife
