طمباخية (ṭimbāḵiyyaf (plural طمباخيات (ṭimbāḵiyyāt))

  1. (old-fashioned) a ball, such as ones used in sports and entertainment.

      "لعبت كرة مع الأحفاد وناديت «عطوني الطمباخية»، ضحكوا عليّ، على بالهم ان جدهم قط بدلية."
      “laʿabt kura maʿa l-ʾaḥfād wa nādēt «ʿaṭūni ʾil-ṭimbāḵiyya», ẓiḥkaw ʿalēyy, ʿala bālhum ʿinna yaddhum gaṭ badliyya.”
