Etymology

Derived from the active participle of أَمْتَعَ (ʔamtaʕa, to cause to enjoy), from the root م ت ع (m-t-ʕ); compare مُتْعَة (mutʕa, enjoyment).

Adjective

مُمْتِع (mumtiʕ) (feminine مُمْتِعَة (mumtiʕa), masculine plural مُمْتِعُونَ (mumtiʕūna), feminine plural مُمْتِعَات (mumtiʕāt))
