Derived from the active participle of أَمَلَّ (ʔamalla, to be boring, to irritate), from the root م ل ل (m-l-l).

مُمِلّ (mumill) (feminine مُمِلَّة (mumilla), masculine plural مُمِلُّونَ (mumillūna), feminine plural مُمِلَّات (mumillāt))
