  1. (transitive) to oppose, be against
    ܟܹܐ ܡܕܲܠܩܒ݂ܝܼܬܘܿܢ ܚܹܐܪܘܼܬ݂ ܡܲܡܠܠܵܐ.
    kē mdalqḇītōn ḥērūṯ mamllā.
    You oppose freedom of speech.
