Calque of Hebrew רִמּוֹנָדָה (rimonáda), from a blend of ܪܸܡܘܼܢܵܐ (rimūnā, pomegranate) +‎ ܠܝܼܡܘܿܢܵܕܵܐ (līmōnādā, lemonade).
