Borrowed from Prakrit 𑀏𑀕𑀸𑀭𑀲 (egārasa), from Sanskrit एकादश (ekādaśa). Cognate with Sinhalese එකොළොස (ekoḷosa) and Hindi ग्यारह (gyārah).
