[edit]Inherited from Sauraseni Prakrit 𑀤𑀼𑀇𑀚𑁆𑀚 (duijja), from Sanskrit द्वितीय (dvitī́ya, “second”), from Proto-Indo-Aryan *dwitíyas, from Proto-Indo-Iranian *dwitíyas, from Proto-Indo-European *dwitíyos, from *dwi- (“two, apart”). Doublet of दूजा (dūjā) and दूसरा (dūsrā).
