Etymology[edit]

From Old Georgian შთა- (šta-), equivalent to შე- (še-) +‎ და- (da-): *შედა- (šeda-) -> *შდა- (šda-) -> შთა- (šta-) -> ჩა- (ča-).

  1. Indicates the direction of the verb: from up to low (sometimes inside too)
