  1. The 36th letter and 28th consonant of the Tai Tham Pali alphabet. In Pali it represents the dental lateral approximant consonant /l/.

Usage notes

The subscript form mostly used for consonant clusters, especially in Pali, is the character separately encoded as   . For the final consonant of a syllable, the subscript form overwhelmingly used is the one formally associated with the Unicode character , as in ᨲᩣ᩠ᩃ.
