Short for ἔντομα ζῷα (éntoma zôia).

Καλῶ δ’ ἔντομα ὅσα ἔχει κατὰ τὸ σῶμα ἐντομάς
Kalô d’ éntoma hósa ékhei katà tò sôma entomás
I call "notched" all those that have notches in their body
