Etymology[edit]
From Scythian *Śuḍāsa (“who kept the good acts in memory”), composed of *śuḍa (“goodness, good acts”) (cf. Khotanese śśuru, śuru, śśära (“good”); śśäḍe (“goodness, good acts”)) + *āsā (“kept in memory”).[1]
