γεύσεως (géfseosf "of taste" (Epistle of Barnabas 1:7)

  1. Genitive singular form of γεύση (géfsi).: "taste."
  2. Genitive singular form of γευσις (geusis): "sense of taste" (Liddel & Scott's Greek-English Lexicon).

Note: The form γευση (geuse) is also a verb form that means: "you should not taste" (Col. 2:21). It's the Aorist Subjunctive Middle (ASM) FORM of the verb γευομαι (geuomai) - "to taste." That verb also makes the Nominative Neuter Singular (NNS) noun γευμα (geuma) - "taste."
