-вʼвʼи (-wwi) (after consonants -ув'в'и)

  1. Used to form the plural form of regular nouns.
    тылгылӈын → тылгув'в'и = finger → (many) fingers
    ӄураӈа → ӄурав'в'и = reindeer → (many) reindeers
  2. (with the suffix -на), used to indicate plural objects, many of something.
    тынун вапаӄ → тынунав'в'и вапаӄав'в'и = I ate a fly agaric → I ate (many) fly agarics

Usage notes

In colloquial speech the ending -в'в'и is frequently reduced to -в or removed entirely.
