Old Armenian[edit]

Etymology[edit]

From -եր ‎(-er) +‎ -եակ ‎(-eak). In հնգերեակ ‎(hngereak) the element -եր ‎(-er) is from Proto-Indo-European *penkʷe-ro. In the rest it either developed by analogy or is from Proto-Indo-European *-er- antithetic suffix.
