Documentation for Template:ja-kanjitab. [edit]
This page contains usage information, categories, interwiki links and other content describing the template.

To create links to the individual kanji of an entry with multiple kanji, use the template {{ja-kanjitab}} at the top of the Etymology section. This creates a table floated at the right margin.

This can be used without any parameters to simply display the kanji contained in the term, or it can be used with the readings of those kanji in the order that they appear in the term. For more details on that, see the documentation at {{kanji readings tab}}. This has the same behavior as that template with the exception that when using this template, the kanji do not need to be entered.

For example, the entry 外来語 would include the following:

===Etymology===
{{ja-kanjitab}}

or

{{ja-kanjitab|がい|らい|ご|yomi=on}}

Note: if there is no other etymology text, do not use the ===Etymology=== header; (which would create an apparently blank section) the {{ja-kanjitab}} template follows the ==Japanese== header.
