    1. Old Aramaic [oar], spanning the periods of Ancient and Old Aramaic, including Imperial, Biblical Aramaic, etc.,
    2. Jewish Middle Aramaic [tmr], incompasing literary Judeo-Aramaic texts of the Middle Aramaic period, i.e. Jewish Babylonian Aramaic, etc.,
    relegate [arc] to a family code, and create sub-family codes for Eastern [arc-eas] and Western [arc-wes] Aramaic.
