[edit]- Following the passing of an act to rename Cynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru (“National Assembly for Wales”) to Senedd Cymru (“Welsh Parliament”), the term Aelod Cynulliad (“Assembly Member”) was superseded by the term Aelod o'r Senedd (“Member of the Senedd”).
- Not to be confused with Aelod Seneddol (“Member of the (UK) Parliament”).
- The abbreviation AS is used for both Aelod o'r Senedd and Aelod Seneddol.
