Etymology

From the name of a 4th-century martyr, (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Ancient Greek Ἀναστασία (Anastasía), from ἀνάστασις (anástasis, resurrection). The name, and its male counterpart Anastasius, were originally given to children who were born around Eastertime during the early years of Christianity.
