Appendix talk:Hawaiian given names

The Wiktionary version[edit]

The article "Hawaiian name" remains in the Wikipedia. For this shortened version in the Wiktionary, I removed the preface, Wikipedia links and all names without data of actual usage. The names cannot be linked to the Wiktionary because of hyphenation. All of them might not meet the CFI ( too rare).

Also, new names cannot be added , this is a report of frequency. I don't see the point of the given name appendices in the Wiktionary unless they give additional information on frequency or something similar. An alphabetical list is unreliable without sources. It is better to make separate entries for each name, and the category will list the names in alphabetical order.--Makaokalani 11:31, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Super Job[edit]

Makaokalani, I wish all the appendices on names were this good. Thank you for all the work.
