I think the pronunciation should be written as [`boN gu], if I understand the symbols right; what you wrote is {byun,gu}, which might be heard in the hills or in some Xagvacri ghetto, but isn't standard Lojban. (The N/n distinction is nondistinctive, but saying [o] as [@U] is definitely wrong and might be misheard as {bengu} (which is too close to {bengo}) or {bungu}.)

Also, {bongu} is definitely English bone + Chinese gu; the other four score zero. mi'e pier
