Does SSA (I don't see anything on EES) say that the Lith. word is Finnic? The Latvian one is but the Lith. one has a completely different meaning and is from Polish. User:Tropylium. Neitrāls vārds (talk) 16:38, 11 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Letter-for-letter, SSA quotes "liett pùika 'kaveri'", i.e. a different word from (though perhaps homophonic with) the Polish-originating one you've mentioned. --Tropylium (talk) 10:08, 12 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
