Limited Soft Mutation and the Mixed Mutation[edit]

There should be a discussion about the limited versus the full forms of the soft mutation. There also needs to be a section on the mixed mutation (i.e. the mutation found with the negative and interrogative particles). – Dyolf87 (talk) 13:22, 5 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

The article already says "In nouns, ll and rh never undergo soft mutation after the article, although they do in adjectives", and the mixed mutation is mentioned in the relevant discussions of soft and aspirate mutation. Mixed mutation isn't really a separate mutation, it's just a special case of aspirate mutation where consonant not subject to aspirate mutation undergo soft mutation instead (as opposed to being left unchanged, as is usually the case). —Mahāgaja · talk 15:06, 5 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
