Ulster/South differentiation[edit]

Was wondering what the actual distinction between Ulster Scots and South Scots actually is, and given the lack of entries in Ulster, exactly why there is a difference? If the answer is Ulster Scots is only in reference to the county of Galloway then I think there is little grounds for such a distinction. The entire Scots Wiktionary section does seem to need a thorough clean up, but Ulster/South differentiation does seem particularly redundant. The South Scots section seems to include the lexicon of Strathclyde inhabitants, and that lexicon rarely differs from those of Galloway from my own experience.

This is not an attempt to demean any northern Irish Scots or the people of Galloway, I only bring it up in the interest of clarity as frankly 'South Scots' is also unclear as Lothian and Strathclyde lie at roughly the same latitude but are markedly different in colloquialisms.

Note: I am Strathclyde born and currently reside in Angus, as such I am very aware of the divide in the Scots language.
