  在十五世紀，義大利的達文西就已經畫出了有腳踏、鏈條和兩個輪子的腳踏車草圖，只是當時並沒有人把草圖裡的腳踏車製造出來，直到十八世紀末，一個法國人用木頭製作了一輛兩輪車，模樣很像一隻有著兩個輪子的木馬，這就是最早的腳踏車。

  In the fifteenth century, Italy's Leonardo da Vinci had already drawn a sketch of a bicycle with pedals, chains and two wheels. However, no one had made the bicycle in the sketch until the end of the eighteenth century, when a Frenchman made a two-wheeled vehicle out of wood, which looked like a wooden horse with two wheels. This was the earliest bicycle.
