    I tried doing some retr0bright on some white 60's EM pop bumper bodies. I left the stuff on for almost a day and it never did anything. It obviously works on the 80's plastics for computers but not the older stuff and possibly not the newer stuff.

    yep, the reason the case yellows in the first place is still in the plastic (fire retardant) retrobrite can only go so deep, so you keep doing it or seal it up with some UV protective clear coat.

    I never bought into the retrobright thing. Peroxide is extremely corrosive and no one has adequately demostrated[sic] that it is safe for the long haul.

    These are four different machines I've been restoring over time (cleaning, retrobrighting all the cases, new capacitors on cards and motherboards as well as replacing power supplies but keeping the original chassis to hide the modifications).
