The robber unconsciously or consciously admits that as soon as they try to steal in any stand-your-ground state. If anyone is to put your life, or belongings in jeopardy for personal gain, you deserve the right to retaliate. Akinning this to Saudi Arabia just shows a poor understanding of the law.
